Trip to Perhentian

It took us an hour flight from KLIA to Kota Bahru Airport. From there, we had to go to Kuala Besut by local cab. With a friendly uncle who gave us quite a quick info about Kelantan mostly on the the royal scandal, the trip did not feel like 1 hour. In Kuala Besut, we had to aboard a ferry (it is not a ferry but a small boat, max 10 adults). Fast and efficient ride which lasted us for an half an hour was a bit too scary for my kids. Nevertheless, we arrived with a big grin and amazed with clarityof the water and abundance of colourful fishes which are a bit too friendly. We have arrived indeed.
